Love it here. Many posts on social media are encouraging Christian nationalists to post negative reviews bc Schweitzer doesn't discriminate. If the reviews tank, that's likely why. It's lovely. You should go.

Great skiing, short lift lines. Park at the Red Barn and ride the free shuttle to to avoid parking hassles. Have dinner at the Chimney Rock, the food is fabulous. Have a coffee cocktail at Cabinet Mountain Coffee. Get a massage and a sound lounge session at the spa.

Small mountain village but with amazing snow, slopes for all levels of skiing and Sandpoint 15 min away.

Very friendly and generally helpful staff. As a first timer at this mountain it was difficult to find where to take the new skiiers in my party. Two of them went right through the bunny hill and onto the greens before I noticed and getting them down the greens safely was challenging as they had only been in skis for a few minutes. Some easy to see signs at the end of the bunny hill would be helpful. We got there early and were able to park at the Lakeview lot, which was actually a short walk to the main lodge area. Let’s talk about customer service. I had some confusion about the 3 day pass that I had purchased as a Christmas gift (it showed in my name, not the person I had bought it for) and after reading the policies I was concerned that I had made a grand error. (READ THE POLICIES,the language can be a bit confusing. I called first thing and spoke to the kindest, sweetest person, Valerie. In less than 3 minutes she had my nerves calmed and confirmed with me that my husband was actually the person named on the pass. Valerie delivered excellent customer service, with a great tone and attitude. Schweitzer is blessed to have her.
